Design Essentials, an African Diaspora hair brand specially formulated for black, uses naturally sourced ingredients from Chad. The collection includes Chebe Herbal Pre-Wash Intense Repair Masque, Anti-Breakage Moisture Retention Shampoo, Anti-Breakage Moisturizing Leave-In Conditioner, Braid and Twist-Out Styling Crème, and Strengthening and Moisturizing Styling Mousse. According to the organisers, Design Essentials will fly five top hair stylists from their London base to style the hair of over 60 top African models that will be strutting the runway of Africa Fashion Reception Gala and Awards Night of Africa Celebrates. Ethiopian Airlines is the official carrier.
