Desborough’s Jenny Morgan--Desborough Ladies progressed to the next round of the Mason Trophy after beating Whiteknights A team by just a single shot. A nail-biting game between the sides went down to the wire with Desborough emerging victorious by 28-27. The rink skipped by Lorraine Woodley began slowly but started to pick up shots once they'd settled. A nip and tuck battle eventually went the way of hosts Whiteknights 16-14, but back at Desborough, the rink skipped by Helen Jones did enough for the team to squeeze home for victory.
