PhotoDerika Brooke Jaffe and Philip Jeffrey Rosenthal are to be married Jan. 15 at the Park Avenue Synagogue in Manhattan. She is the daughter of Sandra Jaffe of Allentown, Pa., and David Jaffe of Teaneck, N.J. The groom, 50, is the co-founder and president of Fastcase, an online legal research company in Washington. He graduated from Yale and received a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in physics from the California Institute of Technology. He is the son of Richard Rosenthal of the Bronx and the late Molly Rosenthal.
