Derby County injury latest with top scorer set to miss Bristol Rovers clash

Derby County will be without top scorer James Collins when they visit the Mem on Saturday to face Bristol Rovers with the striker expected to be sidelined until the end of March at the earliest. However, according to Derbyshire Live, Paul Warne may have his top scorer back available sooner than planned, although he will still miss this weekend's match against the Gas. Additionally, the performance at Pride Park back in November was excellent and warranted a point at the very least instead of the 2-1 defeat. The Gas striker is currently on 15 league goals after a streak of 11 in 11 matches and is only three off leader Alfie May. Left-back Callum Elder's current status is also unclear with the Australian missing Derby's last two games against Port Vale and Charlton Athletic.
