According to Ms. Visalakshi, who joined duty this month, 56 acres were bought by DSS Trust in 2007 from farmers through ‘sada bainamas’ (on plain papers). We will take the possession of the land ‘on the field’ immediately,” Ms. Visalakshi said. A regional caretaker of the Trust, Mr. Shyam Lal, however maintained that the land was bought from brokers, legally.
