Mayor Neil Holdom said he had been to visit McFarlane, who is making steady progress with the support of close friends and family. "Craig's family and his doctor are pleased with the progress of his recovery and the team at New Plymouth District Council are looking forward to welcoming Craig back to the council table when he is ready to return." The McFarlane family wish to thank members of the public for their support, Holdom said.
