Depth made differenceTNT’s lack of depth was evident in the fourth quarter of Game 6 in the PBA Philippine Cup Finals at the MOA Arena last Sunday. Coach Chot Reyes’ troops mounted a furious comeback to seize the lead, 68-66, time down to 1:58 in the third frame. SMB ran TNT to the ground, leaving the Tropa without a single fastbreak point in Games 5 and 6 where TNT was outrebounded by an average of 15. Without RHJ, TNT was hard-pressed to find somebody to influence the defense as he could. In the last two contests, TNT could cough up only an average of 79.5 points, an indication of a major sputter because of lack of depth.
