During the review, the Department of Education (DepEd) will include the importance of understanding climate change and its effects. Briones said that teachers and school administrators would have to be more aware of the effects of climate change and disaster management. “On our part in DepEd, we will alert our teachers that it is not just about the wind anymore,” Briones said.
