Share TweetBy Merlina Hernando-MalipotThe Department of Education (DepEd) on Monday expressed disappointment over certain groups that have attributed suicides of teachers to their heavy workload, saying it is “alarming to advance certain interests” this manner. The DepEd was pertaining to some groups who related suicides to the workload of teachers. The DepEd Chief also noted that if one is to make a statistical analysis, the numbers will tell them otherwise. At the same time, the DepEd noted that it continues to get “approval, trust, and support” of educators and stakeholders from various sectors in the country.
