Share TweetBy Merlina Hernando-MalipotThe Department of Education (DepEd) enjoined schools to conduct activities that will highlight the commemoration of the 121st Anniversary of the Philippine Independence today, June 12. 53 s. of 2019, urged both public and private schools to participate in activities that are related to the celebration. Likewise, special discussions on the Philippine Flag for “continuous flag awareness and discuss significant events in history” which led to the proclamation of the Philippine Independence. Teachers, DepEd said, may also ask their students to submit school work related to the celebration of the Independence Day.
