KOTA KINABALU: Police have detained a dentist over molest claims made by five female students during a dental check-up at the clinic of a secondary school in the east coast Tawau district. Tawau district police chief Asst Comm Fadil Marsus said the 26-year-old man was picked up at the Tawau airport on Friday. The students from a secondary school at Jalan Kg Jawa here lodged reports at the Tawau police station on Friday. He said his daughter told him that the dentist allegedly harassed her while examining her teeth. The victim’s father immediately accompanied her to lodge a police report at 12.30pm and convinced the other victims to do the same.
