The agreement means that the Liberal party will work with and advance this and a number of other NDP priorities in exchange for their support in propping up the government until 2025. “We’ve agreed to work together,” this statement was issued by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in a news conference that took place on Tuesday morning. Further, there would be monthly “stock-take” meetings help by an oversight group which would made up of staff and politicians. “As I’ve said a number of times I am planning on continuing to serve Canadians through and beyond the next election,” he said.
