Over the weekend, the 30-year-old Morrison qualified in two distances to represent Canada again on the World Cup circuit. His time of one minute, 9.508 seconds means Morrison is destined for the first World Cup of the season in Harbin, China. “Some weight has lifted from my shoulders,” Morrison wrote in a text to Schouten at 5:16 p.m. “I at least know I can do it again.”He certainly can. “His passion takes him far.”In the moments after Sunday’s race, Morrison wanted to talk about where he could improve.
