Former Kenya Rugby 7s player and self-taught chef Dennis Ombachi aka the Roaming Chef is trending at number one on X App formerly Twitter. Ombachi became a topic of discussion on the social media platform after putting out a superb “Ugali Mayai and Cabbage recipe for “Njaanuary". Towards the end of 2023, Ombachi promised Kenyans a “Cabbage and Ugali Mayai," recipe, and true to his word he delivered. “Njaanuary and as promised here’s Cabbage & Ugali Mayai making its 1st of many appearances, cheap nutritious and will see you through after spending all your money in December or you just want a break from meaty dishes,” he said in part. "I don’t use tomatoes on my cabbage just a personal preference but feel free to use them,".
