Kasper Schmeichel was targeted by a laser pen as Harry Kane took England's winning penalty in the Euro 2020 semi-final. The Denmark goalkeeper was picked out with a green laser in his face while attemping to save Kane's penalty in extra time. Sterling, brilliant throughout the tournament, won the penalty from which Harry Kane ultimately scored the winner. Well done by Kasper Schmeichel who saved Harry Kane's first effort even though he was blinded by a laser pointer. Sterling then won a penalty – approved by VAR – after a tackle from Joakim Maehle, which Kane missed but then finished on the rebound.
