John Cornyn pushed back Wednesday against efforts by House Democrats to obtain President Trump's taxes and financial records and seek testimony from former White House counsel Don McGahn. Cornyn, R-Texas, told "America's Newsroom" that the role of Congress is not the same as the Justice Department or Special Counsel Robert Mueller investigating potential crimes.
