The 10-foot long object is actually a ‘demo bomb’ used in Bangladesh Air Force training, say police. “We have contacted the airport and Air Force authorities in Cox’s Bazar. They told us the demo bomb was dropped by a trainer jet.”No-one was reported injured after the object fell on a coastal embankment near Rupali Bazar of Uzantia Union around 3pm Tuesday. An Air Force team reached the site around 6am and was the demo bomb by police. Demo bombs are used to train pilots, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director Lt Col Md Rashidul Hasan told bdnews24.com.
