Delta Air Lines Inc. said it is taking the first step toward eventually offering free Wi-Fi with a two-week test run on dozens of domestic flights later this month. Airplanes are among the last holdouts when it comes to free internet access, an amenity people have come to expect at restaurants and hotels. On Delta, it currently costs a passenger as much as $16 to connect to the internet for a day within North America and $28 for a global day pass.
