Nothing eases the pain of a flight delay like 800 pizzas. After thunderstorms forced Delta to cancel and delay hundreds of flights across the South on Wednesday, crews stepped up and hosted impromptu airplane pizza parties for stranded passengers at a number of airports, spokesperson Michael Thomas confirmed to HuffPost. Photos surfaced of flight attendants, pilots and ground crews unloading slices, with Twitter users including comments of thanks.
