It now emerges that the late President Mwai Kibaki not only followed a strict diet due to doctor’s suggestion but also out of his own liking for specific foods. According to Nation, whenever he was at his retirement home in Mweiga, the former head of state did enjoy lamb chops and grilled meat from his favorite butcher called Joseph Maina. Maina's butchery called JJ Butchery tucked at the corner of Mweiga Town, Maina sold meat to Kibaki’s family and staff for the last 20 years.
