The Delhi government today announced to implement vehicle rota system in the national capital in order to reduce air pollution in the city. Crop residue burning only accentuates the weather condition. STEPS TAKEN TO SAVE DELHI FROM SMOG, POLLUTIONThe Supreme Court ordered a ban on sale and purchase of crackers ahead of Diwali to keep the air pollution level down. The farmers can be encouraged to use them while laws should be framed to ban crop residue burning completely. This weather phenomenon increases the density of suspended particles in Delhi air.
