A Delhi Police constable has alleged he was assaulted by the station house officer (SHO) of the Gandhi Nagar police station for “not doing his work on time”. A video available on social media purportedly shows the constable levelling allegations against the SHO. He reportedly admitted to pushing the constable, but denied allegations of assault. Sources said the SHO told senior officers that the constable had misbehaved with him. Constable Hansraj, who has been admitted to a private hospital in Patparganj, claimed he was beaten up by the officer inside the police station.
