Delhi airport’s Terminal 2 will begin operations on Saturday, taking some pressure off the crowded Terminal 1, as GoAir shifts its operations. T2 was ready in January but could not open then as the airlines operating from T1 did not shift. Now, with GoAir shifting to T2, airport operator DIAL hopes IndiGo and Spicejet will follow. DIAL will provide free inter-terminal transfer facility between T1 and T2 for three months. Besides, for comfortable movement of flyers, there are six contact stands as well as four bus gates at the terminal,” the spokesperson added.
