A 49-year-old vegetable vendor died on Monday afternoon while standing in queue outside a bank to deposit Rs 50,000 in demonetised 500 and 1,000 rupee notes, police said. The incident occurred outside the Oriental Bank of Commerce branch in west Delhi’s Najafgarh area where Satish Sharma collapsed around 2.30 pm while standing in the queue along with one of his friends.
