Exceptional bowling and fielding in the death overs, especially from Mohammed Shami, ensured Delhi Daredevils spoilt Rising Pune Supergiant’s march to the IPL 2017 playoffs by registering a seven-run win at the Ferozeshah Kotla on Friday. But Cummins held his nerve and delivered four perfect balls to give Delhi Daredevils a thrilling win. Things got better for the Delhi Daredevils skipper as he removed the in-form Rahul Tripathi (7) with an off-cutter. Tiwary, along with Stokes, steadied the ship and kept Rising Pune Supergiant in the game. With this loss, Rising Pune Supergiant’s final league game against Kings XI Punjab becomes a virtual shoot-out.
