0 shares ShareTweetPinAddis Ababa, May 1/2023 (Walta) Delegations from Zambia, Niger, Tanzania, and Cote d’Ivoire visited wheat cluster farming in East Shewa Zone, Oromia region of Ethiopia. The field visit was led by Oromia Regional State President, Shimelis Abdisa, and other higher regional officials. The farm visit aimed to exchange the best practices and experiences of Ethiopia in transforming agriculture particularly clusters farming and development in wheat, avocado, and coffee in Ethiopia. Cluster farming also facilitates, among others, the supply of specific inputs conducive to agroecology and enhanced technical support including machinery key to crop and fruit production. The delegation of the four countries, in its four-day time, is expected to visit various development projects in the region, according to ENA.
