Peter Crouch was left shocked by Dele Alli's omission from Tottenham's starting XI in their win over Burnley. The north Londoners stuck four past passed the Clarets, but Alli was only given a brief cameo from the bench. That was despite playing a starring role in their Europa League win on Thursday night. Crouch has labelled Jose Mourinho's decision as "deflating" and does not feel as if Alli should be "left to rot". Alli has made just one league start with his other six appearances coming from the bench.
