The crash, just prior to 6am on Monday, happened along Albany Highway near Unsworth Heights on the North Shore. Auckland Transport said traffic was heavy in the area and a serious crash investigation is required. At 7.30am, AT said one lane in each direction had been reopened for motorists but delays should still be expected until the crash scene has been fully cleared.
