(Photo by Varuth Hirunyatheb)Deflation is expected to be greater than originally forecast, the Commerce Ministry said on Friday, after consumer prices in June contracted for the fourth straight month. The ministry downgraded its annual headline inflation forecast to a range of -0.7% to -1.5%, with an average of -1.1%, from a range of -0.2% to -1.0%, an average of -0.6%. For the first half of the year, headline inflation was -1.13% and core inflation was 0.32%.
