Therefore, it is hardly surprising when one of the better filmmakers in the country Imtiaz Ali, has words of praise for his two leads from Tamasha. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are arguably the best actors in the industry, and in a league of their own. Both the actors were quite instinctive in delivering the scene and Ali was really surprised with how it came out on film. During the world premiere of Tamasha on &Pictures, director Imtiaz Ali said, that the crucial scene in the film where the lead pair breaks up, did not require any rehearsals whatsoever. I believe Ranbir and Deepika must have experienced such situations in their lives and hence they invested those emotions in the scene which made it look smooth.
