Deepak Shodhan, who was the first Indian to score a Test century in his debut innings, died at his Ahmedabad home on Monday. DREAM DEBUTBorn on October 18, 1928, Shodhan made his Test debut at the age of 25 against Pakistan in 1952 at the Eden Gardens. Strangely, Shodhan did not play more than three Test matches.
