Decorated elephant sculptures to go on display in aid of Thames Hospice


Decorated elephant sculptures are set to appear across streets, parks and public spaces in Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough this summer. Trunks Across the Thames, a Wild in Art event in aid of Thames Hospice will run from Monday, July 13 to Sunday, September 13. Shanly Homes and Sorbon Estates are participating in this year's campaign, and a Shanly Homes' sponsored elephant sculpture will be on display in Windsor town centre. Toby Parkinson, sales director at Shanly Homes, said: "We’re delighted to be involved in the Hospice’s Trunks Across the Thames project. The Sorbon Estates' sponsored sculpture will be on display in the Waterside Quarter in Maidenhead, amongst the existing public artworks.
