The documents were sought as part of research into the Herald’s Rainbow Warrior podcast - A Forgotten History - but have only recently been made available by the NZSIS. The attack killed photographer Fernando Pereira, leading to a murder investigation and the arrest of Mafart and Prieur just days later.
