The 20-year-old impressed during his breakthrough season at West Ham and United are now keen to sign the player this summer. Talks have opened the two clubs, however, West Ham have told United that they do not intend to sell Rice. As a result, United are now struggling to convince some of their top targets to move to Old Trafford this summer. A new centre-back is one of United’s targets but Leicester City are demanding £90 million for Harry Maguire. United have also had a bid rejected for Issa Diop and have been told by West Ham that the 22-year-old is not for sale.
