The Denkyembour District Chief Executive, Mr Seth Birikorang Ofosu said the scholarship was opened to all students in tertiary institutions, nursing training colleges, college of education and universities, both private and government institutions. Addressing the first ordinary general assembly meeting of the District Assembly, Mr Ofosu explained that the applicant needed to apply to the Chief Executive Officer of the Scholarship Secretariat through the District Chief Executive, Denkyembour District Assembly. Mr. Ofosu said the 30,000 oil palm seedlings nursed by the assembly itself would be distributed the month of May. He said the district had received 12 motorbikes for extension officers to facilitate their work in the district.
