(Hussein Malla/Associated Press)KHARTOUM, Sudan — Sudanese activists said on Monday that at least 11 people were killed in clashes with security forces during mass demonstrations demanding a transition to civilian rule. He said the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces arrested “elements” who fired at security forces in Omdurman, killing two people and wounding three RSF members. Authorities put the death toll at 61, including three security forces.
