Henderson’s preference, though, would be to take up his place between the sticks at Old Trafford and there are growing calls from United fans to see him displace De Gea. ‘I think it’s clear for everyone to know, I want to play for Manchester United and England,’ Henderson told TV3. ‘He’s probably been the best player at Manchester United for that time period. ‘It’s fantastic to be seeing the season out with Sheffield United.
