A shooting in which two people were killed and five injured occurred in a Kentucky park near a youth football game, but was not connected to it, police say. Louisville Metro Police spokeswoman Lt. Emily McKinley said Friday that it appears the shooting took place after a dispute between people who had gathered at Shawnee Park but weren't there to watch the game. They say they do not know a motive for the two related shootings in Shawnee Park, spokesman Dwight Mitchell said. "When you have a tragedy like this take place, certainly it puts a damper on anyone celebrating" the Thanksgiving holiday, Mitchell said. The shootings took place as hundreds of people gathered in the park along the Ohio River for the annual Juice Bowl Football Tournament, a tradition dating back to the 1950s.
