Tuesday's mass shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in B.C. shooting was the latest deadly school shooting in Canada's history and one of its worst — despite Canada's relatively strict gun controls. The last fatal mass shooting at a school was 10 years ago, at La Loche high school in Saskatchewan. Two more people were found dead in a home, which police believed to be connected to the school shooting. 1978: Sturgeon Creek School, WinnipegA 17-year-old student shot and killed a 16-year-old student at the Winnipeg high school on Oct. 19, 1978.
