MUMBAI: Unable to bear the foul smell of a dead rat in an AC coach, an Orissa High Court judge alighted from Konark Express midway through his journey from Bhubaneswar to Visakhapatnam recently.Central Railway (CR) has ordered an inquiry after Justice Biswanath Rath, who was travelling in A1 coach, wrote a complaint in the register kept at Berhampur railway station, where he had alighted. A passenger found a dead rat and three mice near the window.CR's divisional railway manager SK Jain said, "We have ordered a probe though the fault does not lie with us... Before the train departed, the East Coast Railway staff should have inspected the coach in the maintenance yard". The East Coast Railway said they too have ordered an inquiry.
