The deceased Tarin, 12, and Tayeba, 4, were siblings and residents of the Purbo Chalakchar area in the Monohardi upazila, Narsingdi. Locals spotted the body in the evening and later informed police. Police recovered the bodies around 8pm and sent them to the Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, confirmed Narsingdi Superintendent of Police (SP) Miraj Uddin Ahmed. SP Miraj said: "We are assuming that the girls were strangled somewhere else, and then the bodies were dumped in the toilet.
