Earlier, the Comelec Office for Overseas Voting (OFOV) ordered the deactivation of 313,101 registered overseas voters due to their failure to vote in the 2016 and 2019 polls. Those who wish to file their applications may go to any Philippine Post abroad or at designated registration centers in the Philippines. The registration period for overseas voting for the May 2022 polls will run until September 30, 2021.
