Filipino karateka James de Los Santos has extended his winning streak in online kata competitions. De Los Santos beat Slovenian Nejc Sternisa in the semifinal, 24.8-24.2, to advance to the championship round. The 30-year-old Filipino then topped American Alfredo Bustamante, 24.8-24.48, in the finals for his 20th gold medal in online kata tilt. De Los Santos also beat Brazilian Murillo Alves in the finals of the Pune Open India Karate E-Tournament last November 7. As of press time, de Los Santos has earned 10,540 points in the E-Kata Individual Male Seniors Rankings.
