With its attack neutralized, the Maryland men’s soccer team turned to Canadian goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair to earn a 0-0 draw with superior Indiana in the Big Ten opener Friday. “It came through a lot of traffic,” St. Clair said of the second threat. “We wanted to come in and really give it to them, but it was tough,” St. Clair said after making six saves and registering his third shutout. St. Clair came off his line to stuff Mason Toye and, after being drawn out by a left-side insurgence, required help from a defender to disrupt Rashad Hyacenth at the six-yard box. St. Clair produced his finest save of regulation in the 70th minute, touching Timmy Mehl’s 25-yard free kick over the crossbar.
