From Lucknow to Una, the opposition parties waded into the controversy and took on the BJP within Parliament and outside it. Rahul was caught on camera with his eyes shut in Lok Sabha on Wednesday while the House was debating the dalit issue. The opposition parties slammed the BJP government evoking an aggressive response. The BJP blamed the opposition parties for flaring up the issue. In Rajya Sabha, all the listed government business was put on hold, as the House debated the issue of atrocities against dalits through the day.
