Davos is not an easy place to get to, but over the decades, it has become a place for people from different countries and with different interests to get together. Last year, the spotlight was on the fourth Industrial revolution (or Industry 4.0 as it’s also known)—the dramatic changes we are witnessing in industry after industry because of technologies like artificial intelligence, Big Data analytics and automation. For companies with a global footprint, both are critical to sustain growth in their top and bottom line. An increase in global trade is critical for our growth, especially in the creation of jobs. The theme for the World Economic Forum in Davos is “Responsive and Responsible Leadership”.
