Wagner left Huddersfield by mutual consent on Monday, spending just over three years at the club and guiding them into the top flight via the play-offs in 2017. Speaking on Monday Night Football, Carragher paid tribute to the man who got Huddersfield into the Premier League and kept them up last season. "What a story and what a job that man has done, getting Huddersfield into the Premier League and keeping them up. But what happened there certainly in the couple of years he has been there is as absolute fairy tale."
