Monrovia – David Tweh has completed his move from Liberian Champions Barrack Young Controller to Energetik BGU of the Belarusian top league on a one-year contract with an option to extend for another year. A statement from Tweh’s former club reads, “Barrack Young Controller can confirm David Tweh has signed a one-year contract with Energetik BGU of the Belarusian Highest league.”“Tweh’s transfer was completed on February 25, 2019 after a transfer agreement was reached with Energetik BGU. Congratulations David Tweh.”The player himself wrote: “I want to thank the president of BYC and all those who have made possible the signing. David will now realize his dream of playing out of Liberia after previous several attempts, which didn’t work out for him. “It is with great pleasure that we – as a team and club – prepare to say farewell to a good friend, a wonderful person and a fantastic player in David Tweh,” Sherman said to BYC social media.
