David Hui: Hong Kong would need to extend social distancing measures

The Chinese University's medical expert David Hui Shu-cheong says the government would need to extend social distancing measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 in Hong Kong. The government may need to extend social distancing curbs which are set to expire on Tuesday, an infectious disease expert says. Health officials detected 58 new cases of Covid-19 in Hong Kong yesterday, of which 50 were domestic infections. The social distancing measures would last for a week and set to be lifted at midnight on July 23. The tally of Covid-19 cases in Hong Kong was at 1,714, which included one probable case and 11 deaths.
