Mansfield have confirmed they have appointed a new manager, who will be unveiled at a news conference at the club's stadium on Thursday. A club statement read: "Mansfield Town chairman John Radford and chief executive Carolyn Radford have acted swiftly and diligently in their search for a new manager. Flitcroft joined Swindon last summer after spending three years as manager of Bury and a ten-month spell in charge of Barnsley. Mansfield are fifth in League Two, just three points above Swindon in seventh.
